FUTSAL FROM A TO Z: 6 TO 9 YEARS (I./V.)Description of the manual: It is the first of a series of five FUTSAL A to Z manuals which, together with the other four, present the PEROS Futsal programme from the very beginning (somewhere between the ages of 6 and 6 years) to a well-rounded Futsal player (somewhere between the ages of 18 and 20 years). The first manual is aimed at children in the age group of 6 to 9 years. It is a practical guide on how to introduce futsal to children who are new to the ball.It is designed to provide guidance to all stakeholders: children - futsal players, parents of children, educators, primary school physical education teachers, and futsal and football coaches; there is a lot of theory, supported by practical pictures, exercises, games and finally, training sessions, and a lot of advice on different areas of futsal. The manual has six main chapters: the INTRODUCTION consists of a plan on how to learn futsal, the principles of the game of futsal and how to introduce training with children, including the role of the coach, adapted to this age group. This is followed by a second chapter, which describes the TECHNIQUE in more detail, both theoretically and practically. Among other things, the author gives concrete guidelines on technical elements such as: ball control, ball handling, skating, passing and stopping the ball, shooting, dribbling and juggling. For each of these elements, drills and some games are included. Technique is the most important element in teaching children from 6 to 9 years old, so the author also gives practical advice for coaches on what to teach and how to teach it. The third chapter is devoted to TACTICS, which is supported by theory and presented with pictures and exercises. In the first age group, the basic elements of tactics, defence and attack, are covered. In defence, two aspects are important: defending the attacker with the ball and defending the attacker without the ball. In attack, we learn about detection for breakthrough and assist, creating empty space, attacking on breaks (corner, offside, foul) and the basics of the 3-1 and 2-2 systems.Chapter 4 highlights the importance of PHYSICS (conditioning) as an integral element of futsal. Basic movement skills such as flexibility, strength, speed, accuracy, coordination and aerobic endurance are introduced in relation to futsal. This is followed by chapter 5, PSYCHOLOGY OF SPORT, in which the author describes the psychological aspect of the coach's relationship with the players, emphasises the importance of motivation and empathy, and describes the basic rules, behaviour, instructions and handling.Chapter 6 describes some examples of TRAININGS that trainers can use to help them develop their own approaches. The descriptions include the necessary tools, pictorial representations of exercises and games, and suggest a sensible training timetable for this age of children. Read more
